Bajaj Auto Starts vaccinations for employees and family members

Bajaj Auto has announced a COVID-19 vaccination campaign for all employees and their family members over the age of 18 in all production facilities. The company runs vaccination camps at its factories in Akurdi, Chakan, and Waluj, where employees, contract workers, and their family members receive free vaccinations. Vaccination facilities will also start at the Pantnagar plant on June 5, 2021, Bajaj Auto said in a statement, adding that the company will gradually vaccinate all of its employees across the country.

“India’s war against the pandemic is on two fronts – medical and economic. With the availability of scientifically tested vaccines, we can address both of these challenges effectively. With a vaccinated workforce, we will not only be able to significantly reduce the stress on the public health systems but also get back to regular economic activity much faster. We look forward to our employees leaving behind all pandemic-related stress after the completion of this vaccination drive,” said CP Tripathi, Advisor, Corporate Social Responsibility, Bajaj Auto.

Bajaj Auto recently pledged to support families if any employee dies from the virus. Under these circumstances, the Company provides employees with a maximum salary of ₹ 2 lakh a month for two years, educational assistance for up to two children until completion of graduation, and an extension of hospital insurance up to 60 months for spouses. and two children.
