China’s Second Covid Vaccine also get approval from WHO

Geneva: China’s second covid vaccine has also been approved by the World Health Organization.  Sinovac Biotech Ltd.’s Covid vaccine get emergency use permits from WHO. With this, the World Health Organization is giving the green light to the second vaccine from China. It has been advised to give two doses to those over the age of 18 at a gap of 24 weeks.

Sinovac is the second Chinese-made vaccine to be approved by the World Health Organization.

In early May, China’s Sinopham waxscene was approved by the WHO. Currently, in addition to China, Sinovac is being used in 22 countries, including Chile, Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, Thailand and Turkey, according to the International News Agency.
