Unni’s mother beat Priyanka before her death

In the case of the suicide of a woman in vembayat due to domestic violence, accused Unni Rajan P. Dev’s mother’s arrest is delayed. The police had registered a case against the duo and had arrested Unni and the evidence had been completed. The police explained that Unni’s mother Shantha was suffering from covid.

But Priyanka’s family is expressing some doubts about the delay in her arrest. On May 25, Unni Rajan P. Dev is being arrested. The arrest took place after Unni was  Covid negative. Unni and her mother Shantha became covid positive on the same day. If so, it’s believed that at least 18 days have passed since Shantha was positive. So relatives think the arrest is being deliberately delayed. Priyanka’s relatives have expressed concern to nedumangad DYSP, who is investigating the case in this regard.

But the police say the arrest was delayed because they did not receive a covid negative certificate. The police have so far concluded that Shantha was involved in the case along with Unni.

Priyanka herself has personally said that it was Shanta who beat Priyanka the most in the attack just before her death. So Shantha’s arrest is crucial in the case. But Priyanka’s family is concerned that Shantha’s arrest has not taken place even after 8 days of Unni’s arrest.
