A creatively used image of the Covid situation; American Magazine congratulates ‘Joji’

Kochi: The New Yorker, the famous American magazine, has congratulated Dilish Pothan’s film Joji. According to the magazine, Joji is a film that combines the Covid situation with the story.

Joji was mentioned in a review in the magazine written by film critic and journalist Richard Brady. The film’s director Dilish Pothan is also congratulated in the article.

The article says that he appreciates Dilish pothan’s ingenuity.

When his father’s body is brought home, Joji is asked by binzi, another character in the film, to come wearing a mask. The magazine article also states that this scene is an example of the fact that the film used the Covid situation very creatively.

The article points out that Shyam Pushkaran’s screenplay is also superb and a very practical presentation.

Joji released on Amazon Prime on April 7 and received a great response. Discussions about each of the characters in the film are still going on on social media.

After the release of the film, there was talk on social media of notes approaching each of the characters in a different way.

The film has been produced by Dilish Pothan, Shyam Pushkaran, and Fahad. ‘Joji’ was set under the banners of Bhavana Studios, Fahad Fazil and Friends and Working Class Hero.
