The Serum Institute of India (SII) has sought permission from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) to manufacture Russia’s covid-19 Vaccine Sputinic V in India. A Pune-based vaccine manufacturing facility has also sought permission for further analysis and testing of the vaccine.
