Shashi Tharoor posts a viral matrimonial ad in response to a bride’s request for a vaccinated groom.

The coronavirus pandemic has completely altered how people interact with one another. The second wave of COVID-19 has been extremely difficult for India. COVID’s second wave is winding down, so cases are dwindling and vaccination campaigns are in full swing. The only effective ways to control the virus, according to experts, are vaccination, social distancing, and wearing masks. In a recent development, a bride has placed a matrimonial advertisement seeking a Covishield-vaccinated groom.

Yes, indeed! A woman has demanded a groom who has received both doses of the Covishield vaccine in a viral matrimonial ad. On June 4, 2021, this clip appeared in a newspaper’s matrimonial column, in which a self-employed Roman Catholic woman sought marriage with someone of her own faith, but with one condition. She also stated that she has already received both doses of the Covishield vaccine and is looking for a potential groom who has also been vaccinated.

A vaccinated bride seeks a vaccinated groom! No doubt the preferred marriage gift will be a booster shot!? Is this going to be our New Normal?

The video of this matrimonial advertisement went viral on social media, and many people reacted to Tharoor’s post with comments. More than 8500 people have liked the post, and over a thousand people have retweeted it.
