New Delhi: The central government is providing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to farmers who have yet to register for the PM Kisan Yojana. The scheme provides financial assistance to millions of farmers across the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi has so far provided a financial cushion to over 11 crore farmers in India. The scheme provides registered farmers with Rs 6,000 per year in their accounts.
Individual farmers have received a total of Rs 16,000 in eight instalments so far. PM Modi recently unveiled the scheme’s eighth instalment last month. In total, Rs 20k crore was disbursed under the scheme to 9.5 crore farmers.
How to Maximize the Benefits of the PM Kisan Yojana
Farmers who have not yet registered for the PM Kisan Yojana can receive two instalments of the scheme at the same time. A farmer must register for the scheme before June 30 in order to receive double benefits from it.
Farmers who registered or will register before June 30 will receive their first payment under the PM Kisan scheme in July 2021, as part of the eighth payment. Meanwhile, in August, the ninth instalment of this scheme will be released.
Farmers who have not yet registered for the scheme will be able to receive double benefits under the PM Kisan Yojana in a matter of days.
