To be clear, he replaced the bottles with water, and his actions inspired other footballers such as Paul Pogba and Manuel Locatelli to follow suit. The video quickly went viral on social media, and fans praised him. However, the incident sparked the creation of some hilarious memes.
Jal lijiye meme is the most recent addition to that list. The meme is from the film Vivaah, in which Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao star. The line comes from a scene in which the lead actor comes to her house to propose marriage and she offers him water. She says it correctly in Hindi. They had no idea, however, that the scene would become popular 15 years later. The internet has been taken over by the meme.
