Ramanattukara accident: A cloud of suspicion hangs over victims’ airport trip

Police reports have said that in a cloud of suspects the murderous accident, which instantaneously killed five people in Kozhikode district of Ramanattukara, Kerala, in the wee hours of Monday morning.

The local police started a detailed investigation on Monday, about 4:45 am, into the road accident.

When the accident took place, fifteen people were on their way to the Karipur airport in three cars.

After a collision with the lorry, the unfortunate car overturned three times, the lorry driver said.

He told the police that he did no mistake and he travelled at high speed in his car.

Now, two other vehicles are suspected that the car has been accompanied by the accident. The police are investigating why the accident occurred when so many young people returned from and to the airport.

Six additional young people have been taken into custody by police and questioned in the other car.

Now CCTV visuals are being searched by police and a detailed sample has commenced.

The police said local people went into action immediately and the police arrived on site quickly.

“All five people were killed at the scene in the car,” said the police inspector on the scene.

The five young people who died in the accident were coming back from Palakkad and Kozhikode Flughafen.

Preliminary reports show that at the accidentsite liquor bottles were found.
