JioPhone Next becomes official as an ultra-affordable Android phone; pricing remains unknown for the time being.

Reliance Jio, in collaboration with Google, launched its most awaited ultra-affordable 4G smartphone, the JioPhone Next, at its 44th Annual General Meeting. The newly released 4G handset is designed to transition the vast majority of users from the 2G network to the 4G network. Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, has confirmed that the handset uses an optimised version of the Android operating system, making it easier to use for everyone.

“It is extremely affordable and packed with cutting-edge features. “It will be available in the market on Ganesh Chaturthi, September 10th,” Mukesh Ambani says at the Reliance AGM 2021. He goes on to say that he is pleased to announce that Google and Jio have collaborated to develop the JioPhone Next. The newly released low-cost 4G smartphone is said to come with both the Google and Jio suites.

Specifications and features of the JioPhone Next

The newly released ultra-affordable 4G smartphone includes features such as a voice assistant that allows you to use the phone simply by speaking commands. The handset also supports automatic read-aloud of screen text, so if you don’t want to read the text, the phone will do it for you; just make sure it isn’t reading your personal or confidential text in public.

If you want to translate languages, the JioPhone Next will assist you with that thanks to its built-in language translation feature. It appears that the smartphone will use Google Translate to accomplish this. In terms of cameras, the newly released phone is said to have a smart camera sensor with augmented reality features. The camera module is located in the center-top of the rear panel, according to the teaser image shared at the AGM 2021.

The low-cost 4G smartphone does not appear to have a fingerprint scanner, which means you must use a complex pattern or password lock to keep your phone secure. The JioPhone Next comes with a thick chin and top bezels, so don’t expect a bezel-less display from an inexpensive Jio smartphone. Apart from the important specifications such as processor, battery, display size, camera configuration, and so on, the Reliance chairman revealed every detail about the phone.

Price and availability of the JioPhone Next

The JioPhone Next’s price remains unknown because Mukesh Ambani has chosen to keep it a secret until Ganesh Chaturthi. He did, however, promise that the phone would be released at a reasonable price. He also stated that the device will be available for purchase on September 10th, 2021. So stay tuned for more information on the JioPhone Next’s exact price and specifications.
