Jayaraj, Suresh Gopi team up after 26 years for ‘Oru Perumgaliyattam’

Filmmaker Jayaraj and actor Suresh Gopi, who mesmerised the screen with the classic hit ‘Kaliyattam’ in 1997, are teaming up again after a hiatus of 26 years. The duo has begun shooting for their next project titled ‘Oru Perumgaliyattam’, in which Suresh Gopi will essay the role of ‘Peruvannan’.

The film will also feature Shine Tom Chacko, Anaswara Rajan and ‘KGF’ fame BS Avinash in significant roles. Earlier, Suresh Gopi had bagged the National Award for Best Actor for his performance in ‘Kaliyattam’, an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s tragedy ‘Othello’, while Jayaraj won the Award for Best Director.
