Mohanlal’s 12th Man: Everything You Need to Know About the Film!
Mohanlal just announced his upcoming project on his official social media platforms. The mystery thriller 12th Man is his second collaboration with hitmaker Jeethu Joseph. Mohanlal, who uploaded the announcement poster, wrote, “Happy to announce my forthcoming movie ’12th MAN’ with #JeethuJoseph, produced by @antonypbvr under the banner @aashirvadcine.”
Director Jeethu Joseph recently revealed some interesting insights about the long-awaited project in an interview with a renowned online media outlet. According to the filmmaker, the Mohanlal-starrer centres around the unexpected events that occur over the course of 24 hours during the get-together of 11 friends and a 12th person who joins them.
Mohanlal will play the titular role in the film, which will be directed by KR Krishna Kumar. Mohanlal’s character in 12th Man is described as a strange individual with a secret motive. According to insiders close to the project, the Mohanlal-starrer is also being planned as a direct-to-OTT movie.
In addition to Mohanlal, the Jeethu Joseph-directed film stars Anusree, Saiju Kurup, Shine Tom Chacko, Sshivada, Veena Nandakumar, Leona Lishoy, Aditi Ravi, Chandhunadh, Santhi Priya, and others in significant parts. The film 12th Man is planned to be shot in Kochi and Thodupuzha. The project’s set work is currently in progress.
