New Delhi: In the previous 24 hours, India has recorded 37,154 new COVID-19 cases and 724 deaths, according to the Union Health Ministry (July 12, 2021). The number of active coronavirus cases in India has risen to 4,50,899, with a recovery rate of 97.22%.

The overall number of coronavirus cases in India has now risen to 3,08,74,376, of which 4,08,764 have died and 4,50,899 are still active. In the country, a total of 3,00,14,713 people have recovered from COVID-19 illnesses, with 39,649 people recovering from the virus on Monday.

Many states and union territories have released new COVID-19 recommendations, relaxations, and limits that will take effect on Monday, as the country’s daily COVID-19 cases show a declining trend (July 12, 2021).

Several states, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Goa, have decided to begin the next phase of the unlock process as coronavirus cases continue to decline, while others, such as Haryana and Tamil Nadu, will remain under lockdown-like restrictions to protect citizens from the virus and prevent COVID-19 from spreading further.

According to Johns Hopkins University, the global COVID-19 caseload has surpassed 186.7 million, with over 4.02 million deaths and over 3.43 billion vaccines.

According to the CSSE, the United States continues to be the worst-affected country, with 33,853,614 cases and 607,155 deaths, respectively. India is in second place in terms of infections, with 30,837,222 cases.
