Maruti Suzuki raises THESE models’ prices by up to Rs 15,000

Maruti Suzuki India, the country’s largest automaker, announced on Monday that it has raised the cost of the Swift hatchback and CNG variants of other models by up to Rs 15,000.

The price rise for the Swift and its CNG variants is due to an increase in various input costs, according to Maruti Suzuki India in a regulatory filing.

“Ex-showroom pricing (Delhi) have increased by up to Rs 15,000 on the models listed above. The new pricing are in effect as of today, July 12, 2021 “it was added

Prior to the price increase, Swift versions were priced between Rs 5.73 lakh and Rs 8.27 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Maruti Suzuki offers CNG options for its Alto, Celerio, S-Presso, WagonR, Eeco, and Ertiga models, with prices ranging from Rs 4.43 lakh to Rs 9.36 lakh.

To address rising input costs, the business raised the prices of most of its models by up to Rs 22,500 in April this year, with the exception of the Celerio and Swift.
