Chinese rocket may hit Earth today; Calculation as Pacific

The wreckage of the Chinese rocket Long March 5B, which lost control, is predicted to land on Earth by 9 a.m. today. The current conclusion is that it will fall into the Pacific Ocean without causing any damage. At 18,000 miles per hour, scientists have not been able to accurately predict the time and place of a rocket crash. The U.S. Aerospace Corporation estimates that the crash will occur between 7 and 11 p.m. Part of the Long March launched on April 29 for China’s third space station mission is out of control after the mission. It weighs 21 tons. But only a small part of it will reach Earth. The risk of falling into an inhabited area is very low but cannot be completely ruled out.
