The NEET exam will take place on September 12th, and the application procedure will begin on Tuesday.

New Delhi, India: Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan said on Monday that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2021 (NEET) will be held across the country on September 12, 2021, following COVID-19 norms.

The pre-medical entrance exam application process will begin at 5 p.m. on Tuesday on the National Testing Agency website (s).

The number of cities where the examination will be administered has been expanded from 155 to 198 in order to ensure social distancing standards. In addition, the number of examination centres will be expanded from the 3862 used in 2020.

Face masks will be provided to all candidates at the centre to guarantee adherence to COVID-19 protocols. There will also be staggered time windows for admission and exit, contactless registration, thorough sanitisation, and seats with social separation, among other things.

All furniture, fixtures, and chairs will be disinfected before and after the exams, in addition to the communal areas. For proper air circulation, the examination room/halls will include open windows and fans.

The Exam was originally set on August 1, 2021.
