Dia Mirza Give Birth to Baby Boy Via Emergency C-Section; She Claims He Arrived Early

Dia Mirza took to Instagram to announce the birth of her first child with a heartfelt note. Dia, who gave birth to a baby boy on May 14, 2021, said he arrived early and has been cared for by tireless nurses and doctors in the Neonatal ICU since then. Dia posted a photo of herself holding the hand of her newborn on her Instagram page, along with the caption, “These words perfectly express Vaibhav’s and my current emotions. On May 14th, our heartbeat, our son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi, was born. Our little miracle was born prematurely and has since been cared for by a team of dedicated nurses and doctors in the Neonatal ICU.”

Dia wrote about her delivery, saying, “A sudden appendectomy during my pregnancy, followed by a severe bacterial infection, could have resulted in sepsis, which could have been fatal. Thankfully, our doctor’s prompt attention and intervention ensured our baby’s safe birth via an emergency C-section.”

Dia went on to say that she and her husband, Vaibhav Rekhi, do not have enough words to express their gratitude to everyone who has helped them live this storey of hope and faith, as well as create a safe, healing, and nurturing environment for Avyaan
