Gold price today, 14 July 2021: Gold rises, but remains Rs 8300 lower than record highs.

New Delhi: Gold prices have made a good comeback in the last week. Gold prices have risen from around Rs 46,500 in early July to near Rs 49,000 now. Gold was trading at around Rs 47,972 per 10 grammes on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday (July 14), Rs 83 higher than Friday’s closing rates.

However, when compared to record highs, the yellow metal is still a few thousand rupees cheaper. This is a fantastic opportunity for investors who want to bet on the yellow metal.

Gold is trading around Rs 8300 lower than it was at its peak.

After the public markets crashed in 2020 due to fears of a COVID-19-driven economic downturn, stock investors flocked to bullion exchanges. With gold investments surging, the yellow metal’s prices have reached all-time highs.

Gold reached its all-time high of Rs 56,191 in August 2020. Gold, on the other hand, is currently trading at around Rs 47856 per 10 grammes. This means that gold is currently trading around Rs 8330 lower than its all-time high.
