Reasons people feel bad about being single

1. They feel they have reached an age where they should settle down

Many people assume that there is a certain age at which you should marry and start a family. This, however, is not the case. Some people will find the love of their lives right out of high school, while others may find them in their forties. When the moment is right, you will meet your soulmate.

2. They feel they are unlovable unless someone loves them

Remember that your self-worth should not be determined by your marital status. There may have been a few people who dated you in the past, and many more are sure to come. However, this does not imply that you should undercut yourself and stop practising self-love.

3. Social media makes you think you are missing out

People are frequently swayed by the wedding images of others on social media. Those couples, however, may not be as happy as they appear in the images. So, don’t allow jealousy get the better of you.

4. They feel they are falling behind their friends

Your buddies are not your adversaries. They are your support system. They should encourage you to do whatever brings you the most joy. They should not make fun of you for being single. If you’re hanging out with folks who make you feel horrible about your relationship status, it’s time to establish new acquaintances.

5. Their family pressurizes them

Above all, your family should be concerned about your pleasure. You owe them no son-in-law or grandchildren. You should do whatever makes you happy. You don’t have to worry about satisfying them because they aren’t in charge. Your choices are entirely your own.
