MS Dhoni enjoys lunch with old friends in IPL 2021, and the pic goes viral on social media.

Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is taking a well-deserved break now that the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 has been postponed until September. When the lockdown was lifted, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain was seen spending quality time with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva at his Ranchi farmhouse before heading to the hills of Himachal Pradesh. On Wednesday (July 14), a new image began circulating on social media showing Dhoni enjoying a relaxed lunch with some old friends.

Dhoni hasn’t been very active on social media since announcing his retirement from international cricket in August 2020. Mahi’s fans, on the other hand, get a glimpse into his life away from the field, as photos of him being spotted in public places are widely shared on social media platforms.

The photo was first shared by a fan page dedicated to the legendary cricketer. In the photo, the 40-year-old can be seen eating with what appear to be his friends at a restaurant. One of them, according to the comments on the post, is Seemant Lohani, and the other has yet to be identified.

Aside from the ‘down-to-earth’ image of Dhoni eating with friends, there is a luxury vintage car in the background that has piqued the interest of social media users. The vintage Rolls Royce costs well into the crorescrores.

Dhoni was spotted in Himachal Pradesh last month with his entire family, including his five-year-old daughter Ziva and wife Sakshi. The scenic photos of Dhoni and his daughter from the beautiful location had gone viral on the internet.

Meanwhile, Dhoni was last seen in action during the first leg of the 14th edition of the IPL, which ran from April 9 to May 4. The final leg of the mega-event is set to begin on September 19 in the United Arab Emirates.
