Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan Inaugurates Grand Seven-Day Festival ‘Keraleeyam’

In a grand spectacle showcasing Kerala’s progress, achievements, and rich cultural heritage, the state government launched the seven-day festival ‘Keraleeyam.’ The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at the Central Stadium, where he lit a traditional lamp in the presence of esteemed invitees and cabinet ministers. Distinguished personalities, including representatives from various countries, graced the occasion, along with renowned figures like Kamal Haasan, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Shobhana, Manju Warrier, MA Yousaff Ali, and Ravi Pillai.

The festival promises a vibrant array of activities, with 42 venues hosting 25 seminars focused on Kerala’s future, featuring the participation of over 200 prominent individuals from both within and outside the country. In the evenings, more than 4,100 artists will captivate audiences across 30 different venues, ensuring a delightful cultural experience. Beyond these captivating performances, the event will also feature exhibitions, trade fairs, food festivals, and film screenings, offering attendees a multifaceted glimpse into the diverse and rich heritage of Kerala. ‘Keraleeyam’ stands as a testament to the state’s cultural richness, bringing together art, tradition, and innovation for a memorable celebration.
