In light of Bakrid, Covid limitations have been eased: shops in the D category can now open on Monday

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said during a news conference here on Saturday that the limitations in D-category regions have been lifted, and stores in such areas can reopen on Monday due to Bakrid.

In places that fall within the A and B classifications, there are fewer curbs. Electronics stores, repair shops, and stores that sell household items can operate from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Those who have received at least one dose of the Covid vaccine are permitted to attend religious services. On rare occasions, up to 40 persons are allowed to attend religious centres. More individuals should not be let into the area, according to the authorities.

Only hair styling salons and barbershops are permitted to open. Vaccination is required for store employees. Movie shooting is permissible in sites classified as A and B, just as serial shooting was previously permitted. Those attending the shoot should receive at least one dose of the Covid vaccination.
