New Delhi: Russian agencies are reportedly in talks with the Kerala government about establishing a facility in Thiruvananthapuram to manufacture Russian-made Sputnik vaccine. The government has also begun procedures to find a suitable location for the unit. The government is considering locating the plant near Apparel Park in Thonnackal, a village in Thiruvananthapuram. Russian agencies expressed an interest in establishing the unit in Kerala. The Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) has begun drafting a project report. According to high-level government sources, the project will be officially announced in two days.
