Google’s Olympic Doodle Champion Island Games: How to Play

The Tokyo Olympics begin today, July 23, and Google always comes up with something intriguing on important days with their “Doodles.” On the eve of this event, the tech behemoth has released an interactive series of Olympic-themed mini-games. These are based on events that will take place next week.

This is the largest Google Doodle game to date, dubbed “Champion Island.” Champion Island is a role-playing game with a variety of minigames and locales to explore.

This Google Doodle game, which coincides with the Opening Ceremonies, is available for use on the Google homepage. The game is also available on the Google Doodle blog.

This game includes a 16-bit adventure set in the gaming universe of Champion World.

When the game begins, you take on the role of “Lucky the Ninja Cat,” and after the first minigame, you are asked to join one of four teams: Red, Blue, Yellow, or Green. In addition, players can engage in seven sport mini-games to defeat sports champions and obtain the sacred scrolls. Table tennis, rugby, running, swimming, and climbing are among the seven minigames.

Players are also encouraged to contribute to the worldwide leaderboard, which is updated in real time.
