Sachiin Joshi on Winning Gold Fraud Case Against Raj Kundra: “I’m Glad Karma Caught Up With Him”

Raj Kundra, Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman, has been arrested in connection with a case involving his involvement in the adult film industry. In the midst of all of this, here’s another blow to him. In a gold fraud case, actor Sachiin Joshi has won a legal battle against Kundra and his promoter company Satyug Gold. Earlier this year, the Jackpot actor filed a cheating complaint against Raj Kundra for allegedly duping him in a gold purchase scheme.

In his lawsuit, Sachiin stated that he purchased nearly a kilo of gold from the company in a gold scheme in March 2014 for Rs 18.58 lakh. The buyer was issued a gold card at a discounted rate and promised a particular amount of gold payable at the conclusion of the five-year term under the five-year plan.

Sachiin attempted to redeem his card at the end of his term plan on March 25, 2019, but discovered that the company’s office at Bandra Kurla Complex was closed. Joshi later learned that the company’s directors, Shilpa Shetty and Kundra, had resigned in May 2016 and November 2017, respectively. As a result, he filed a lawsuit against Kundra and Satyg Gold.

In this instance, the court recently found in Sachiin’s favour. According to a DNA report, the court has ordered Satyug Gold to return the actor’s gold and pay him Rs 3 lakh as legal fees. According to reports, Sachiin stated, “My legal battle was only a representative of many of Satyug Gold’s investors who participated in the gold scheme at a discounted rate, only to never receive the gold.”

According to reports, Sachiin stated, “My legal battle was only a representative of many of Satyug Gold’s investors who participated in the gold scheme at a discounted rate, only to never receive the gold.”

He continued, “After six years of my hard-earned money lying with a firm, I was requested to pay Rs 25 lakh to get Rs 18,57,870 gold. Consider the common man’s position, who must have invested in a company because a celebrity promoted it as Chairman!”

Sachin went on to say, “There was a lot of slander directed at us, where we were supposed to pay 25 lakh for an 18.57,870 lakh gold buy. When they were asked to turn over the gold, they ended up buying it from Anmol Jewellers and attaching the bill. Because there was no gold with Kundra and Satyug Gold in the first place, there was no need for storage fees. And our alleged ‘false and unsubstantiated allegations’ came true. Satyug Gold was so preoccupied with fulfilling orders for each and every client that they forgot about mine.”

Sachiin continued, “When it comes to winning the case,” “We received our 1 kg gold and the 3 lakh fine that they were required to pay us for forcing us to go through this legal process in which they were at fault from the start, and yes, we will win the cheque bounce case as well because it was stopped rather than bounced because there was no transparency in their dealings. I’m delighted Kundra’s karma has came up with him.”

Sachiin was most recently seen in the 2019 horror thriller Amavas, co-starring Nargis Fakhri.
