Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, is expected to add six new faces to his cabinet

Lucknow: The government of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to expand its Cabinet soon. This is the third time the Cabinet has been expanded. According to sources, the names have already been decided by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) high command and the state government.

The UP cabinet will include up to six new ministers. This is said to be done to balance the ethnic equation for the upcoming Assembly election. According to sources, Jitin Prasad and Sanjay Nishad are the frontrunners among the six new ministers on the shortlist. According to reports, some other OBC faces have also been included.

Swatanter Dev Singh, the state president of the BJP in Uttar Pradesh, and Sunil Bansal, the organisation minister, recently met with BJP national president JP Nadda in Delhi. Swatanter Dev Singh, president of the Uttar Pradesh BJP, returned to Delhi on Friday.

The Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh will be held in early 2022, and with the elections approaching, there is talk of expanding the cabinet in terms of political and ethnic equations.

However, speculation about a state cabinet expansion has been circulating for quite some time.
