There are numerous products and treatments available to help manage various skincare conditions and keep skin healthy and glowing. However, the most secure and cost-effective methods are natural and do-it-yourself remedies, which require few and easily accessible ingredients.
So, if you’re looking for some quick and effective skincare solutions, check out this video by hairstylist and makeup artist Ambika Pillai, who suggests a few simple beauty hacks you can rely on.
A tongue cleaner is all you need to polish the skin, exfoliate dry skin, and remove surface blackheads. Simply clean your tongue with the tongue cleaner before washing your face, and you’re ready to go.
Pedicure at home
If you need a pedicure but don’t have a foot scraper, reach for your razor. Apply pressure to the heels with the razor on a dry foot. It will not sever your skin. Then soak your feet in hot water with rock salt and rose petals and treat yourself. When your feet are completely soaked, take a pumice stone and gently rub it in the areas where you used the razor in round motions. If you don’t have a pumice stone, a light yet abrasive/rough stone will suffice. However, after using a razor, you must use a pumice stone.
Scrub your face
What you’ll require
Tomato – 12 cut
2 tbsp – coarsely ground powdered sugar
*Pull all of your hair back. Begin scrubbing your face in circular motions with half a tomato and powdered sugar. Himalayan rock salt can also be used. Scrub all of the trouble spots.
To get rid of stubborn blackheads
What you’ll require
12 teaspoon – Baking powder
Mineral water in a few drops
Plate with a clean toothbrush
White toothpaste that sparkles
*Place some sparkling white toothpaste on a plate.
Put the baking powder, a few drops of water, and the toothbrush together to make a paste. Scrub your nose, chin, and any other trouble spots. If it still won’t come out, try compressing the affected area with a hot-water-soaked towel the next time. Then follow the procedure.
