Vismaya’s death: An autopsy report is pending, and her husband has been remanded in custody.

Vismaya Nair’s postmortem report, which was discovered at her husband Kiran Kumar’s house in Sooranad on Monday, will be critical in determining whether it was a suicide or murder. Meanwhile, Kiran has been transferred to the Kottarakkara sub-jail after being remanded in custody by the Sasthamkotta court.

Harshita Attaluri, the Inspector General (South Zone) in charge of supervising the investigation into Vismaya’s death, is scheduled to visit Vismaya’s home in Nilamel. The investigation procedures of the Sooranad Police, which has registered the case, would be evaluated by the IG.
