Mirabai Chanu’s silver medal could turn into gold, and here’s why

Zhihui Hou of China set a new Olympic record, while Windy Cantika Aisah of Indonesia took bronze with a total weight of 194kg. Chanu became the second Indian weightlifter to win an Olympic medal, following Karnam Malleswari, who won bronze in the 69kg category at the 2000 Sydney Games, when the weightlifting arena was opened to women for the first time.
