Basavaraj Bommai will be Karnataka’s new chief minister

Basavaraj Bommai chosen by the Bharatiya Janata Party to be the next chief minister of Karnataka.

After meeting held at Bengaluru’s Hotel Capitol in the presence of central observers and the state in-charge this decision was taken.

“I never expected it. However, I had a belief in my hard work and it has paid off,” Basavaraj said after being chosen as chief minister designate.

Basavaraj is the son of the former state chief minister SR Bommai.
