Sunanda Shetty, Shilpa Shetty’s mother, files a cheating complaint in a Rs 1.6 crore land deal case – know more!

Sunanda Shetty, the mother of actor Shilpa Shetty, filed a cheating complaint in a Rs 1.6 crore land deal case on Thursday. Sunanda Shetty named one Sudhakar Ghare in her complaint, according to the Mumbai Police.

According to the police, she claims that the accused sold her land for Rs 1.6 crore using forged documents. According to the Mumbai Police, a case has been filed under relevant sections of the IPC. This comes in the midst of an ongoing pornography case involving actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband, businessman Raj Kundra.

Kundra, along with 11 other people, was arrested by police on July 19 on charges related to the alleged creation of pornographic films. The Mumbai Police have named him as a key conspirator and have charged him under Sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292, and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), as well as relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.

On Sunday, the police informed Kundra that four of his employees had turned witnesses against him in the pornography racket case, compounding his problems.

The Bombay High Court adjourned the hearing on Kundra’s bail application until Thursday on Monday. The court has also ordered that the investigating officer attend the hearing in the pornography racket case.

The court has not granted the businessman any interim relief. Kundra and his associate Ryan Thorpe have been placed in judicial custody for a period of 14 days.

According to the Mumbai Crime Branch, actor Shilpa Shetty has yet to be cleared in the pornography racket case in which her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, is the prime accused.

According to officials, forensic auditors have been assigned to investigate the transactions in all of the accounts of the people involved in the case.
