In Kashmir, a top Jaish terrorist and key conspirator in the Pulwama attack was killed

Officials said on Saturday that a top Pakistani terrorist commander from the proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed was among the two terrorists killed in an early morning encounter between terrorists and security forces in the Nagberan-Tarsar forest area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Previously, a firefight erupted between terrorists and security forces after a joint team of police and army cordoned off the area and launched a search operation based on specific information about the presence of terrorists.

As security forces closed in on the location where terrorists were hiding, they were met with a barrage of fire, sparking the encounter.

Meanwhile, IG Kashmir Vijay Kumar congratulated the army and police on a successful anti-terrorism operation.
