The Apple iPhone 14 Pro could have a titanium body and be released in 2022

New Delhi: While Apple fans await the release of the iPhone 13, rumours about the Apple iPhone 14 have begun to circulate. The iPhone 14 series, which is expected to launch in 2022, may have a sturdier build than the current lineup.

According to a report by JP Morgan Chase, which cited MacRumors, Apple is planning to equip the iPhone 14 Pro models with a titanium alloy chassis, which could make the smartphones’ bodies bulkier and stronger than ever.

Apple used aluminium and stainless steel in previous generations of iPhones to make them stronger. However, because titanium is harder than these two metals, it will be more resistant to scratches and corrosion.

Because titanium is lighter than stainless steel and, more importantly, is susceptible to fingerprint marks, Apple iPhone 14 Pro models with titanium bodies may eventually be lighter than previous generations iPhones.

Apple is already using titanium for its Apple Watch Edition, which has a ceramic case. Meanwhile, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to add Face ID to other devices such as iPads, Macs, and the iPhone SE.

Furthermore, Apple’s iPhone 13 Pro Max is expected to be released in India in September 2021, with a starting price of Rs 89,990. According to Wedbush Securities analyst Daniel Ives, the premium smartphone will be released in the third week of September.
