Shamita Shetty supports Shilpa Shetty after she speaks out about her husband Raj Kundra’s case

Shilpa Shetty has released an official statement regarding her husband Raj Kundra’s arrest in a pornographic case. The actress finally spoke out about the ongoing scandal, posting a lengthy letter on her Instagram page.
In her statement, the Hungama 2 actress addressed the media’s ‘unwarranted aspersions’ and trolling directed at her and her family following her husband’s detention.

Following Shilpa’s post, her sister Shamita Shetty came out in support of her and dropped a comment on her post. She wrote, “I love u my munki and with you always…through thick n thin .. always ️ ️ @theshilpashetty.”

R Madhavan, in addition to her, expressed his support for Shilpa and her family, saying, “You are one of the strongest persons I know, and I am confident that you will conquer this difficulty with grace and dignity. Our thoughts and prayers are always with you and your family.” Shilpa had refused to comment on Raj’s arrest in her statement, and she and her family had opted not to comment in the future as well.

The Dhadkan actress wrote, “MY STAND… I HAVE NOT COMMENTED YET and will continue to refrain from doing so on this case as it is subjudice, so please stop attributing false quotes on my behalf. Reiterating my philosophy of, as a celebrity ‘Never complain, never explain’. All I will say is, as it’s an on-going investigation, I have full faith in the Mumbai Police & the Indian judiciary

She’d added, “As a family, we are pursuing all available legal options. But, until then, I respectfully ask you – especially as a MOTHER – to respect our privacy for the sake of my children, and to refrain from commenting on half-baked information without verifying its reality.” Raj Kundra was detained on July 19 by the Mumbai Crime Branch for allegedly creating and publishing pornographic content through various apps. He is currently being held in judicial custody.
