In India, Xiaomi Redmi has released two laptops: the RedmiBook Pro and the RedmiBook e-Learning Edition. These devices, billed as India’s first laptops, are powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake processors and include 8GB of RAM and NVMe SSDs.
The RedmiBook laptops have a 15.6-inch FHD display, 65W fast charging, and a battery life of up to 10 hours.
According to Redmi, these laptops have optimised performance, with a boot time of 13.36 seconds, a wake time of 1.01 seconds, and a reboot time of 20.34 seconds.
The RedmiBook Pro will be available for Rs 49,999 on Flipkart, Mi.com, and in Mi Home stores. Meanwhile, the Redmibook e-Learning Edition is priced at Rs 41,999 for the 256GB storage variant and Rs 44,999 for the 512GB storage variant.
The RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition will be available in Charcoal Grey and will go on sale on August 6 at 12 p.m. HDFC Bank offers discounts that reduce the price of the RedmiBook Pro to Rs 46,499, while the RedmiBook e-Learning Edition is available for Rs 39,499 and 42,499 for the 256GB and 512GB storage variants, respectively.

The RedmiBook Pro is powered by an 11th generation Intel Core i5-11300H Tiger Lake processor with a maximum frequency of 4.4GHz, Intel Iris Xe Graphics, and 8GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM. A 512GB NVMe SSD is also included with the RedmiBook Pro. In terms of screen size, the laptop has a 15.6-inch FHD display with an anti-glare coating. The laptop accepts a 46WHr battery and charges at a rate of 65W.
e-Learning Edition RedmiBook
The RedmiBook e-Learning Edition is powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1115G4 Tiger Lake processor and has 8GB of DDR4 memory running at 3200 MHz. It has a 15.6-inch FHD display and an internal storage capacity of up to 512GB via an SSD. According to Redmi, the battery life is 10 hours.
