Skin Care: Jamun Home Remedies for Monsoon Glowing

These java plumps or Indian blackberries, also known as Jamun in India, are ideal for the monsoon season since they not only aid in the treatment of gastrointestinal problems that typically occur during the rainy season, but also protect our skin from excess humidity.
Jamun contains a high concentration of Vitamin C and other antioxidants, which help to make your skin glow from the inside out by cleansing the blood and eradicating blemishes. During the monsoon season, these homemade recipes will not only help you get rid of acne and excess oil, but will also hydrate your skin. Check out some effective do-it-yourself projects to feel bright while enjoying the rain.

1. Acne-prone skin: Mix 1 tablespoon Jamun seed powder with 1 tablespoon raw milk and 1 teaspoon tomato juice. Mix them all together and carefully apply the paste to the affected regions.

Allow it to rest overnight before washing it off with a gentle face wash in the morning.
2. Oily skin – Grind the Jamun pulp with a sieve and a spoon to extract the juice from 5-6 ripe Jamun. You may produce your own Jamun seed powder at home by drying the seeds from Jamun for 2-3 days in the sun.

Add 2 tablespoons of gram flour to the extracted juice, along with the leftover Jamun pulp, and mix well. Apply it to your face and neck and leave it on for 15-20 minutes before washing it off.

3. Skin that is dull

-Take 5-6 and grind them in a food processor. 2 tablespoons Jamun pulp juice, 1 tablespoon plain yoghurt, 1 tablespoon rice flour, and 12 teaspoons lemon juice

Using a brush, apply a double layer of this mask and leave it on for 20-30 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water.
