Arzoo Govitrikar, a Naagin actor, petitions for divorce, alleging that her spouse slapped her and kicked her in the stomach

New Delhi: In a startling change of events, actress Arzoo Govitrikar has filed for divorce from husband Siddharth Sabharwal, accusing him of domestic violence.

According to ETimes, Aarzoo filed a domestic abuse complaint against Siddharth on February 19, 2019, and the actress said that during a confrontation with her husband over his drinking problem, he pulled her to the bathroom and struck her.

“I did, in fact, file for divorce. Enough is enough, and I’m not going to take this any longer. I swallowed my pride and did my hardest. But everything came to a head, and I couldn’t continue working with Siddharth. I had never talked in the media before, not even when I was chased by journalists two years earlier.
