Here’s what Sara Ali Khan has to say about her parents’ divorce, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh!

Sara Ali Khan, the star and Bollywood stunner, recently opened up about her parents’ divorce, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, on a talk show. The actress stated that the divorce was necessary so that both of her parents could be happy separately, as they were not happy living in the same house. She reveals that she has a good relationship with both of her parents and sees the decision to divorce as the best option.

During her appearance on Season 3 of Voot Original Feet Up With The Stars, she stated, “It’s a piece of cake. There are two options, as you can see. Either live in the same house where no one is happy, or live separately where everyone is happy with their own lives and you receive a different kind of love and warmth each time you meet.”

She stated, “My mother is the person I live with. She is my best friend, and she means everything to me. I, too, have a father who is always available by phone and who I can see whenever I want. I don’t believe they were happy together in the end, so I guess splitting up was the best decision to make at the time.”

“They are both content in their own worlds and lives, and as a result, their children are content as well. We are all much happier than we would have been otherwise. As a result, everything happens for a reason “She continued,

Amrita Singh and actor Saif Ali Khan married in 1991, when Amrita was 33 and Saif was only 21. The couple divorced in 2004 due to irreconcilable differences. Later, in 2012, Saif Ali Khan married Kareena Kapoor in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai. They had their first child, Taimur, in 2016 and their second, Jeh, in 2021 – they are Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim’s half-siblings.

Sara was most recently seen in the 2020 film Coolie No. 1, co-starring Varun Dhawan. Aside from that, she has a film in the works with Akshay Kumar and Dhanush called ‘Atrangi Re.’ Aanand L Rai directs the film.
