Shilpa Shetty has not made any public appearances since her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, was arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch in an adult film racket case.

She is also keeping a quiet profile on social media. Shilpa recently made her first on-screen appearance for a COVID-19 fundraiser, We For India, on Independence Day, amidst the current issue surrounding her husband. Other celebs that attended the benefit were Vidya Balan, Dia Mirza, Arjun Kapoor, and Malaika Arora.

Shilpa, a fitness enthusiast, taught how to practise breathing exercises during her section. According to the Dhadkan actress, “Hum aise waqt mein rahe hai jahaan pe breathing ya saans lene par sab kuch nirbhar hai. Breathing is possible if the zariye hum humare poore system is protected. If you clear your nasal passages, your brain cells will get more oxygen, and your immunity will improve. We can preserve our system by breathing. The actress went on to explain how pranayam may help people stay positive during difficult times “Negative thoughts ka aana swabhavik hai, mushkil waqt mein. Uspe control ke liye prana par ayam hona zaroori hai. Because of this, positive rehne ke liye apni breathing ko sahi karne ke liye, aaj ke time mein pranayam pehle se bhi zyada zaroori ho gaya hai (It is common to have negative thoughts during difficult times. It is critical to manage your breath in order to do so. That is why pranayama has become so important in maintaining a happy attitude and improving one’s breathing).”

Shilpa further recommended people to take necessary COVID-19 safety precautions, adding, “I hope that these pranayamas will benefit you in your daily life, as well as in your immunity and health.” Previously, the actress had refused to comment on her husband Raj Kundra’s arrest in a pornographic case, and she has stated that she will continue to do so as long as the case is pending. During these times, she had also asked that everyone respect her and her family’s right to privacy.

In terms of work, Shilpa recently returned to the big screen after a long absence with Priyadarshan’s Hungama 2, which debuted on Disney+ Hotstar. The actress’s next film will be Sabbir Khan’s Nikamma.
