Dubai govt announces work from home policy for women employees with kids

Women Dubai government employees with kids who are e-learning can work from home,, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has announced.

He also issued directives that male employees who do not have anyone to take care of their children’s distance learning be allowed to work from home. This will help government staff monitor their children as they e-learn when schools reopen from August 30.

As per Sheikh Hamdan’s directives, female employees will be allowed to work from home provided their jobs can be done from home and does not impact the operations of the government entity.
