Ajmal, from ‘Madambi,’ makes a strong comeback in Nayanthara’s ‘Netrikann’

Mollywood actor Ajmal Amir, best known for his roles in the Malayalam film ‘Madambi’ and the Tamil film ‘Ko,’ has surprised audiences with his performance in Nayanthara’s ‘Netrikann.’ The 35-year-old actor, who is also a doctor, took a two-year break from acting to pursue his MD abroad.

Ajmal’s first film since returning to India is ‘Netrikann.’

The film, an adaptation of the Korean film ‘Blind,’ tells the storey of a visually impaired female CBI officer who is confronted by a serial killer. On August 13, ‘Netrikann’ was available on Disney Hotstar as a direct OTT release.

Ajmal, interestingly, played the antagonist in the film.

Nayanthara portrayed the visually impaired woman in the lead role. Both stars wowed the audience with their best efforts.

Ajmal hopes that ‘Netrikann’ will be a strong comeback for him in the industry.

In his upcoming projects, he will work with  popular directors Ram Gopal Varma and Mysskin.
