Kuwait Initiates Health Focus for Expats with New Medical Examination Centers

In a bid to address long-standing issues and prioritize the health of expatriates, Kuwait’s Ministry of Health is launching a new project to establish additional medical examination centers. Reports indicate that the ministry will acquire a facility in the Hawally region, south of Kuwait City, to set up a dedicated medical examination center for expatriate workers. This move comes as a response to the overcrowding of existing health centers and is part of a broader strategy to enhance services and streamline processes.

The new center aims to conduct medical tests efficiently, ensuring the health and well-being of the expatriate community. With approximately 3.2 million expatriates out of Kuwait’s total population of 4.6 million, managing health services for this demographic has become a priority. The ministry is working in coordination with various agencies to implement the project and explore additional measures for improving service delivery and center efficiency.

As part of the initiative, the administration has issued warnings against illegal entry into Kuwait, emphasizing strict consequences for both unauthorized entrants and those aiding their illegal immigration. The establishment of dedicated medical examination centers reflects Kuwait’s commitment to addressing the health needs of its diverse expatriate population.
