Everyone treated me like a baby, and Parvathy treasures her ‘Navarasa’ experience

Parvathy Thiruvothu, who recently appeared in the Tamil anthology ‘Navarasa,’ has said that being a part of the star-studded project was a dream come true for her.

The actress played ‘Waheeda’ in the segment ‘Inmai,’ which also starred Siddharth.
She tells IANS about her experience working with the ‘Inmai’ team, “What I really loved is that I got to play the character with conviction.” I needed a team that would support me. This is an actor’s dream: to know that he or she is cared for. It’s just a matter of trust. That was how the ‘Inmai’ team was. Every single person on the set treated me like a baby. I didn’t have to think about anything other than staying in character. I had a good time every time I was in front of the camera. ‘Inmai’ will go down in my book as one of the best acting experiences I’ve ever had.”

In the anthology, her film depicted the emotion of fear, while the other eight films depicted other emotions.
Her character, she believes, had a high relatability quotient.
“Waheeda, my character, is like the rest of us. Personally, we all believe that we are excellent people. Waheeda, on the other hand, made me wonder. Is it true that I am a good person? Have I done something truly heinous? I’m not seeing it. Each of us contains some evil, some manipulation, and some grey areas. However, we have a tendency to create a script about ourselves in our heads and then sell it extremely well. For me, that character is Waheeda. As if I had a mirror in front of me, “she claims.

‘Navarasa’ is streaming on Netflix.
