OnePlus, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is set to release a new smartphone, the OnePlus 9 RT, in October.
According to reports, the smartphone will offer only minor improvements over the OnePlus 9R. In terms of availability, the OnePlus 9 RT, like the 9R, will be available in India and China.
According to sources, this is the only phone in the numbered flagship series planned for later this year; there will be two Nord launches, but no new devices aimed at the high-end segment.
In terms of hardware, the OnePlus 9 RT is based on the 9R, so it will have the same 120Hz AMOLED panel, a higher-binned version of the Snapdragon 870, and a 4500mAh battery with 65W charging.
According to the report, the phone will receive camera upgrades, including the 50MP Sony IMX766 found in the OnePlus 9 series and the Nord 2.
While the sensor served as the wide-angle lens on the OnePlus 9 series, it became the primary module on the Nord 2, and it will also be the case on the OnePlus 9 RT, according to the company.
