Rajasthan Assembly Elections Commence Across 199 Constituencies

Rajasthan is currently witnessing a pivotal electoral battle as polling began for the 199 assembly seats, setting the stage for a fierce contest between the ruling Congress and the opposition BJP. Key figures such as Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, former CM Vasundhara Raje, and Congress leader Sachin Pilot are prominent players in this electoral drama. The BJP, aiming to reclaim power, is taking on the Congress in an effort to influence the political landscape ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

With over 1.70 lakh security personnel deployed across the state, authorities are ensuring a peaceful and secure electoral process. The results of these closely-watched elections are eagerly anticipated and will be officially declared on December 3.

This election is marked by rebel candidates from both major parties, adding an extra layer of complexity to the political landscape. The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are also participating in the polls, introducing additional dynamics to the electoral equation. As the day unfolds, voters are actively participating in shaping the future political landscape of Rajasthan.
