Why did THIS EX-WWE wrestler refuse to wear underwear in the ring?

Chelsea Green, a former WWE wrestler, said that she never wore panties when fighting in the ring. The 30-year-old, who returned to Impact Wrestling last month, was a member of the WWE roster for two years, from 2018 to 2020.

Green has since returned to Impact Wrestling, although she maintains she has never worn panties in her career and doesn’t even wear them in everyday life. Green told EWrestlingNews, “Now one thing you should know about me is that I don’t wear underpants.” I don’t care if you’re wearing wrestling gear, fitness gear, jeans, or a dress. I’m not a fan of wearing f*****g underwear. Okay, sue me. I’d prefer to go commando. I’d rather be able to feel the breeze. This is how I’ve always been. My friends, family, and Matt are all aware of it, and now the locker room is as well.

Chelsea inked a new three-year contract with WWE in November 2020, but nothing happened as planned after that. Chelsea broke her wrist during a Survivor Series match on November 13, and the outcome of that match had to be modified as a result.

She subsequently sat out for several months as she attempted to recover fully from her injury. However, it was reported in April of this year that WWE has opted to release Green from her contract.

Then, in January, she returned to Impact Wrestling, where she had previously performed between 2016 and 2018. Her debut appearance was at Slammiversary, where she defeated Brian Myers and Tenille Dashwood with her real-life fiancé Matt Cardona.
