Arya’s Cheating Case: Police Arrest Impersonators In Connection With Cheating Sri Lankan Woman

Arya, played by Sarpatta Parambarai, recently made news after a Sri Lankan woman accused him of fraud. According to the most recent developments, the Chennai city police’s cybercrime wing has arrested two guys for impersonating the actor and defrauding the woman by obtaining Rs 70 lakh from her and offering to marry her. The two males were apprehended at their respective homes.

The cybercrime wing, lead by Inspector Geetha, allegedly apprehended the pair after tracking their IP (internet protocol) address used to communicate with the woman. Their bank accounts and financial inflows, according to reports, were also scrutinized.

Arya was summoned by the cyber crime police last week. Following the investigation, the police report concluded that someone else had impersonated the actor. Earlier in his conversation with Spotboye, Arya stated that he had no knowledge of the woman and feels the truth will be revealed. He was reported to have said, “It’s a fan attempting to gain attention. I hope she hasn’t been duped by someone using my name. I am confident that the truth will be revealed.”
