When Esha deol said I don’t regretting slapping Amrita Rao

There is a common belief that two female stars can never be friends. But we have seen actresses bonding. Rarely two actresses working on the same movie don’t get along and get into cat fights with one another.

In  2006, Esha Deol and Amrita Rao worked together in Pyare Mohan, with Fardeen Khan and Vivek Oberoi. On the sets of the film Esha admitted slapping Amrita.

Esha Deol didn’t like a nasty comment made by Amritha and slapped her.  Esha said, “Yes, I slapped Amrita. One day after pack-up, she abused me in front of my director, Indra Kumar and my cameraman and I thought that was totally out of line. To protect my self-respect and dignity, in the heat of the moment, I slapped her. I have no regrets because she totally deserved it for her behaviour towards me at that point in time. I just stood up for myself and my dignity.”

Later Amrita apologised to her realising her mistake and they later became friends with each another.
