Prithviraj and Nayanthara to team up for Alphonse Puthren’s thriller Gold

Premam director Alphonse Puthren was in talks with Prithviraj for his new movie. Reports says that project, titled Gold, will have Prithviraj and Nayantha to play the lead roles. Actor Ajmal Ameer is also part of the past. The film is said to be a thriller .

Alphonse Puthren who initially announced Paattu, a musical drama with Fahadh Faasil and Nayanthara, is expected to work on it after Gold. Paattu was stopped due to pandemic. Supriya Menon will produce Gold under the banner of Prithviraj Productions with Listin Stephen of Magic Frames.

Shooting will start around mid-September, outside Kerala.
