Redmi 10 Prime with 50MP quad cameras has been introduced in India: Find out more about the price, specs, and other details

Redmi, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, has finally introduced the Redmi 10 Prime, which is billed as the company’s first 50MP smartphone in the Indian market.

The Redmi 10 Prime is priced at Rs 12,499 for the base 4GB + 64GB storage model and Rs 14,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model. It will be available in three colors and will be on sale in India on September 7 through Xiaomi India outlets and Amazon.

“With the launch of the Redmi 10 Prime, we are bringing an all-around superstar to the Redmi series, with an experience that users associate with the Redmi Note series, with improvements across camera, high-resolution display, high performance, and power-packed battery life,” said Muralikrishnan B, Chief Business Officer, Xiaomi India, in a statement.

The smartphone’s characteristics include a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixel) resolution and a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate.

The smartphone has a quad back camera configuration that includes a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth lens. There is an 8MP front-facing camera.

Other photography capabilities offered in the Redmi Note 10 include time-lapse, slo-mo, Kaleidoscope mode, Sky Scrapping mode, and a built-in editor.
